FAQ
Does Watchlane read my emails?
No. We only read message metadata — timestamps, sender and recipient addresses, subject, and thread IDs — to compute response time. Message bodies are never retrieved or stored.
Will my team know they're being monitored?
That's your call. We provide a draft notice for you to share with the team. Watchlane shows aggregate response time and per-thread status, not message contents.
Does it work with Gmail or Google Workspace?
Today, Microsoft 365 / Outlook only. Google Workspace is on the roadmap — let us know if you want early access.
What's the SLA window measured against?
From the moment an inbound thread is delivered to a connected mailbox until the first reply from any teammate on that thread. You can configure business hours, weekends, and holidays per team.
Can I export reports?
Yes. Weekly PDF summaries are sent automatically. You can also export any view to CSV from the dashboard.
How is data secured?
Read-only OAuth, encryption in transit and at rest, SOC 2 Type II in progress. Data is hosted in the US or EU at your choice. SAML SSO and SCIM available on Business.
